Instead of photographing something with Life Savers that would represent a Contrast, I thought it would be more creative to have at least one word-play contrast.

A very simple Contrast that I thought of expressing was Horizontal vs. Vertical, and I thought what better way than to express it in a city scape.

As my second Contrast piece, I was trying to think of random opposites, which led me to think about objects that are black and white. From there, I decided to take a step back and look at the bigger picture of what the opposite of black and white is, which is colors—hence why I decided to do the color wheel with primary and secondary colors contrasting each other.

In the spirit of contrast, I thought it would be really fun to use Life Savers’ Sweet Strings and Sour Rings Candy in a Roman/Greek time setting (inspired by Disney’s Hercules, as I had previously watched today.)  Since Rome was always at war I thought it would be a good way to display the Sweet and Sour competition.
